In 1984 I bought a Pentax Super Program 35mm film camera. This was my first camera & I still have it. I was in the Marine Corps at the time so I travelled quite a bit & shot photos in the U.S., Africa, Europe, South America and the Caribbean.

I learned early the value of photographic evidence in criminal cases. I've photographer countless crime accident scenes. Sadly that includes many death investigations at the scene and during autopsies. While the experience is very clinical and methodical, it also demands a very technical style. I learned early the value of photographic evidence in criminal cases. I've photographer countless crime accident scenes. Sadly that includes many death investigations at the scene and during autopsies. While the experience is very clinical and methodical, it also demands a very technical style. This gave me a firm understanding of lighting, angles and choice in lens focal length. I did this on film because digital cameras did not have required resolution when I was a Detective in Arizona. All of this established a firm technical foundation I later applied in a very different kind of professional photography.

When I retired a second time, I decided to do something I love and work for clients instead of the government.
I have extensive experience in professional imagery, primarily photography and videography. I shoot and edit my own work on most projects. I work with fellow videographers and video editors on large projects.
